Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Ready to Lead collects when you visit readytoleadstudies.com or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are. The controller of your information is Emanuel Chereji, sole proprietor, trading as Ready to Lead, Hofmannsthalweg 20, 4030 Linz, Austria, support@readytoleadstudies.com.

What we collect

  • When you buy: your name, email address, billing address and order details. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners; we never receive your full card number.
  • When you contact us or sign up for emails: your email address, your name if you give it, and what you write to us.
  • When you visit our pages: information from cookies and similar technologies, such as the pages and sections you view, the buttons you tap, your device and browser type, your approximate location (country/region, from your IP address) and the website or ad that brought you to us.
  • About the ad that brought you: if you arrive from one of our ads, we store the ad’s campaign and ad identifiers and the click identifier (for example Meta’s fbclid) with your visit, and, if you buy, with your order. With your order we also store the identifiers our analytics tool gave your visit, so we can see which ads and pages lead to purchases.

How we use it

  • To deliver your files, send your order emails, provide support and handle refunds.
  • To keep records our tax and accounting rules require.
  • To understand how visitors use our pages, so we can make them clearer (analytics).
  • To measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
  • To send you emails about our studies if you signed up or bought from us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

The services we use

  • Shopify runs our store, checkout and order emails. Shopify processes your information to provide these services. Learn more in Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers) and at https://privacy.shopify.com.
  • PostHog (analytics, United States) records page views and the actions you take on our pages, such as which sections you view and which buttons you tap. We do not record your screen or your keystrokes. Visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are tracked only after they agree in our cookie banner.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): through Shopify’s Facebook & Instagram app, our store sends Meta information about visits and purchases (for example a page view, the start of a checkout, a purchase and its value, and hashed contact details) so Meta can measure our ads and show them to people likely to find them useful.
  • Microsoft hosts our support mailbox.

We don’t sell your personal information for money. Sharing information with Meta for advertising may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information, or “targeted advertising”, under some US state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time with the Your privacy choices link at the bottom of every page, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out.

Cookies and your choices

  • You can manage cookies in your browser and, where we show it, in our cookie banner (the Cookie preferences link in the footer reopens it).
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we don’t load our analytics and we opt you out of data sharing for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice records: for 7 years, as Austrian tax law requires.
  • Email subscription: until you unsubscribe.
  • Support emails: as long as needed to help you, and then for up to 3 years.
  • Analytics data: up to 2 years.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising, and to object to or restrict some uses. Email support@readytoleadstudies.com and we’ll respond within 30 days; we won’t treat you differently for using your rights. If you live in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to a data protection authority (in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde, www.dsb.gv.at). Our legal bases there are performing our contract with you, our legal obligations, our legitimate interest in running and improving our store, and your consent for analytics and advertising cookies.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires, they protect it with recognized safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Children

Our store is not directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with its date.
